People have been cutting their own Christmas trees at Martin's Tree Farm since 1978. We are open 8am to to 4:30pm every day beginning the day after Thanksgiving, November 24th. We have 20 acres of tall and full blue spruce, white spruce, and frazer fir. We provide saws, sleds, and any rope you need to tie your tree to your vehicle or a bungie chord to secure your trunk. We have plenty of free parking in our lot. All trees, six feet or taller, are $40 plus tax. Smaller trees are $35. Trees can be baled, (wrapped in plastic mesh for easy handling) for free.
Martin's Tree Farm is located just 5 miles from route 93 at 483 Howe Street in Methuen, Mass.
From the Boston area you can reach the tree farm by driving north on route 93 to exit 48 (route 213 east). Get off route 213 at exit 3, (Howe Street). Take a left at the end of the ramp. Stay in the left lane for a quick left turn on to Howe street at the next traffic light. The tree farm is two and three-quarter miles up Howe street on the right. Turn right, onto the gravel road, twenty feet beyond the "Fresh Christmas Trees" sign to enter the parking lot.
This year we again have a lot of ten foot trees. Some of them will be too big to be wrapped in netting by the baler or tied to the roof of a car. If you are looking for a very large tree please bring appropriate transportation.
no pets please.
